Little Smiles of Levittown Little Smiles of Levittown Levittown, NY Levittown, NY Part-time Part-time $16 - $24 an hour $16 - $24 an hour Duties - Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients - Obtain and update patient insurance information in the system - Process insurance claims and follow up on any denials or discrepancies - Review and interpret medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing - Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation for insurance claims - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling patient information - Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide necessary support Experience -Dental office experience is preferred, but not required, we are willing to train the right person processes - Familiarity with managed care plans and insurance billing procedures - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling insurance claims and patient records - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Note:
